The scanner performs 270 scans per second. The 3800g is also equipped with fully programmable options for application specific LED and alarm settings, these will verify to the user that they have a good scan.

On board this feature packed scanner are all of the popular interfaces including Visual Express software, for ease of integration. This device also supports unified Point of Sale standard and Windows Embedded Point of Service software for retail connectivity.
